Stephan Danner, Knifemaker

Stephan is originally from Germany and has lived in Norway since 2018.
He has been making handmade knives since 2018. In 2019 he decided to make knives full time.
Now he can look back on over 1.000 Knives he has made.

In December 2024 he moved to Bodø with his family and manufactures his knives under the name "Vestfjord Kniver".

Price ranges of our knives

Fulltang Series

Blade made of 1.2842 high carbon steel with a handle made of G-10 or Micarta. From this knives we usually produce between 25 - 50 pieces a year.

Prise range 2.500 - 3.000 NOK

Fulltang Luxury Series

Our Fulltang Luxury Series are made with a handle of deer antler or exotic wood. This knifehandles have a fingerguard of brass or aluminum.

Price range 3.500 - 4.000 NOK

Hidden tang series

Our hidden tang series are made with handles of different material like stacked leather, deer antler, reindeer antler or a mix of everything. Every knife have a guard of brass or aluminum with different liners. For this knives and handle designs is Stephan known for! He use a unique constructions technic like no one else in norway.

Price range: 3.600 - 4.500 NOK

Custom made

Together with the knifemaker you can design your own knife. From blade design over size and handle design - every detail can be made after our wishes of the customers. You want a unique "1of1" knife - no problem!

For your custom made knives you will meet Stephan in his shop and go throw the whole design.

Delivery time for custom knives are between 2 - 3 month.
