In this course you gonna make with our help your own knife. We start with to make a design for your blade and put together the appropriate materials. The next step will be to cut the blade out from a piece of high carbon steel (stock removal method). Now is the blank ready for the first step of bevel grinding up to 120 grid. Now we come to one of the most important process - the heat treatment of the blade.
The process of heat treatment takes approximately 2,5 hours and during the blade is in the oven we can start already to work on the handle scales and have a coffee brake.
The last working step on the blade after heat treatment is to grind the bevel down to 400 grid, hand sanding and polishing on the buffing wheel. The blade is finish now and we can place the handle. The glue needs to dry over night and on day 2 we can grind down the handle to the final shape.

- all materials (steel and scales and leather for the sheath)
- the leather sheath will be made by us

The course incl. the material for knives up til 120 mm blade length and scales of wood or G10. The leather sheath can be made by us (in price incl.). If you want to make the leather sheath by your own together with our help - you pay 800,- kr. extra and we work 2 hour longer on day 2.
